Karen Michelle Graham ran an intense therapy program for her three-year-old son, Jeremy, who was diagnosed with autism. Two years into the therapy program, the doctor declared that Jeremy no longer met the criteria for the diagnosis and predicted he would continue to make good developmental progress. And he did. Currently, Jeremy is a twenty-year-old college student, makes As and Bs and overall is a typical young man with a wonderful sense of humor. Karen is the author of A Life to Rescue:The True Story of a Child Freed from the Bonds of Autism, which received a 2010 Writer’s Digest award.
